Registration is now open for the 12th Annual Hogtown 5K Beer Run benefiting Climb for Cancer at beautiful Haile Plantation! Enjoy this unique cross-country run on Saturday, September 20th, at 8:30 AM which winds along park trails and loops through Haile Plantation.
Adult runners can enjoy delicious craft beer from Swamp Head Brewery at the finish line, along with root beer for the kids, and music and entertainment. There's something for everyone. All proceeds benefit the Climb for Cancer Foundation supporting cancer patients and their families at UF Health.
Kids can sign up for the 1/2 Pint Root Beer Run! This 1/2 K run is open to kids 10 and under. Top three runners win a trophy!
And new this year—The Hogtown 1 Mile Dog Jog. This short but spirited course is perfect for pups of all ages and energy levels. Each entry fee helps fund the amazing work of the Climb for Cancer Foundation. So, lace up your sneakers, leash up your pup, and help us make a big impact in a small—but mighty—mile! [Please note: This run will start immediately after all 5K runners are through the starting gate, so if you're participating in the 1 Mile Dog Jog, you would not be able to also participate in the 5K.]
Serious and casual runners alike will love Gainesville's awesome 5K Beer Run, which has become a tradition. Pre-register online by Thursday, September 4th at midnight to be guaranteed your official Hogtown 5K Beer Run Technical T-shirt. Pre-registration closes Thursday, September 18th at 8:00 PM.
Adult runners - $35 pre-registration / $45 day-of price
Student/Youth - $20 pre-registration / $25 day-of price
1/2 Pint Root Beer Run (Kids up to age 10) - $10
1 Mile Dog Jog - $25
Day-of registration opens Saturday, September 20th at 7:00 am. Registration and starting line are at Haile West Park, 9538 SW 39th Avenue.
