About this Event
The Alliance Française of Washington DC, a non-governmental not-for-profit organization with a 501 (c) 3 status, was created in 1905. It serves as the French language and cultural center in DC, with classes for all levels and all ages, as well as cultural events and the only loan library in French language in the Mid Atlantic region.
For 120 years, it's been the French Heartbeat of the Nation's Capital.
Come celebrate this big milestone at the magnificent Residence of the French Ambassador to the United States, H.E. Laurent Bili, in the beautiful Kalorama neighborhood, on Tuesday, May 13, between 6:30 and 9:30pm.
You will be able to mingle with an array of personalities of the DC scene of the arts and culture, of the diplomatic world, AFDC faculty and staff, AFDC members and students, and the directors of the Board.
Dress code: festive cocktail attire and, of course, period costume from 1905 to 2025 is encouraged!
Music will be provided by Ken Matthews.
A surprise dessert will be provided by sponsor Patisserie Poupon.
A swag bag will thank you for your support. Sponsorship packages are possible upon request to the Executive Director: [email protected]
Parking is on the street. We highly recommend carpooling or using taxi or Uber.
