Free Oakland UP is 12! TWELVE! And it’s my birthday ☺️I’ve been slingin’ free treasures a bit longer than 12 years but this spot at 2809 MacArthur sealed the deal. The model has morphed many times over the years but I’m comfortable where everything stands now.
Outside: everything is FREE, take as much as you want except my tables, bins and shelves. Loads of materials for collage, assemblage and junk journals: ephemera, typewriter and electronics parts, books, cds and DVDs, magazines, household goods, etc.
Inside: ONE free item per person per day and for a fair monetary donation you may choose more. Plants and select treasures are for sale to help pay for rent and expenses.
Thank you for keeping treasures out of the landfill.
