Moonlit Meditation and Sound Bath in Pine Forest Hammocks
Experience a magical evening of relaxation and rejuvenation at Jaybird Hammock Farm. Experience the soothing sounds of nature while immersing yourself in a guided meditation and crystal bowl sound bath under the moonlit sky. Let the tranquil vibes of the pine forest hammocks wash away your stress and worries. This event is the perfect opportunity to unwind and connect with nature. Don't miss out on this unique experience!

What to expect:
Once everyone is present, we will gather along the spring-fed pond where the owner of Jaybird Hammock Farm, Tina Jenkins, will welcome you and share a brief history and mission statement of the farm.
Together we will then take a short mindful walk down a nature trail and into the pine forest (half-mile round trip). On the walk, some of the farm animals, goats, donkeys and a mule may come out to say hello. When we arrive in the pine forest, you will get cozy in a hammock with a fleece blanket, and relax to the sounds of crackling fire and pine trees gently swaying in the breeze.
Once you are comfortable, Naturalist/Biologist Tina will lead you on an exploration of the diverse flora, fauna and ecological nuances of the surroundings. This immersive introduction aims to deepen your connection with nature, creating a more enriching and memorable mediation experience.
The sound practitioner will begin the session by leading you through a tranquil meditation, setting the stage for introspection and emotional exploration. Following this meditative journey, the sound practitioner will play the singing bowls, the harmonic sounds will surround you, creating a sensory experience that transcends the boundaries of traditional mediation. The resonant tones, like a gentle breeze through the trees, will immerse you in a soothing auditory cocoon, enhancing your connection with the natural surroundings and deepening the overall sense of tranquility and relaxation during the session.
Your role:
Please arrive 15 minutes before the event time to check in and sign a waiver. Park at the barn and gather at the seating area near the pond. Be prepared to carry your belongings on a walk into the pine forest.
Items to bring:
Bring any items you can carry to make yourself more comfortable; a blanket, a pillow, beverage, light source. As an outdoor event, bugs are a possibility, so bring your preferred repellant.
Hammocks, and fleece blankets are included as part of the experience.
