Join us as we discuss the classification of vertebrate animals. We’ll go over mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians and, of course, fish! We’ll discuss characteristics that are common to all animals in each category and then have the chance to see at least one live example of each that lives in or around the Fayette Environmental Education Center.
Recommended learning level: 3rd - 5th grades, all ages welcome
Parking is at the Fayette County Library in the back left of the parking lot. There is a flag that marks the entry to the short trail that will lead you up to the nature center.
