🦖🏃♂️ The 11th Annual Rexy Run/Walk is back! 🎗️💛Mark your calendars and join us on August 15, 2026 for one of Lawrence’s most fun and meaningful community events of the summer.
This year’s Rexy Run will feature our beloved 5K course and an all-new 10K route, giving runners and walkers even more ways to be part of this incredible day. Whether you're racing for a personal best, walking with friends, or bringing the whole family along, the Rexy Run is all about coming together for a great cause.
The race will begin and end at Broken Arrow Park, a beautiful city park in southeast Lawrence. The course winds through the beautiful Baker Wetlands, taking participants along a mix of paved concrete trails and fine gravel paths, offering a scenic and memorable experience for runners and walkers alike.
🐾 Strollers and dogs are welcome, making this a truly family-friendly event!
The Rexy Run/Walk is hosted by BabyJay’s Legacy of Hope, a Lawrence-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting families with children fighting cancer. Our organization helps families navigate the unexpected financial burdens that come with a pediatric cancer diagnosis by helping offset expenses that health insurance often does not cover.
When you participate in Rexy Run, you're doing more than just completing a race — you're helping ensure families facing Pediatric cancer feel supported, cared for, and wrapped in love and support during one of the most difficult journeys imaginable.
