About this Event

The 11th Annual Patients Redefining the Future of Health Care in Canada Summit will be held November 24–26, 2026, at the Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre in Toronto, Ontario, as a hybrid event, offering both in-person and virtual (Zoom) participation. This year's theme, Building Canada Strong: Improving Health Outcomes for All, continues to advance patient-led change in Canadian healthcare by bringing together patients, caregivers, healthcare professionals, researchers, policymakers, Indigenous leaders and community organizations.

Grounded in First Nations, Inuit and Métis leadership, the Summit will explore innovative solutions that strengthen Canada's healthcare system and improve health outcomes for all. Discussions will focus on supportive housing, financial toxicity, patient and caregiver engagement in shared health data, Connected Care and community-driven approaches to building more equitable systems of care.

TRAVEL GRANTS: Funding permitting, travel grants will be available for patients, caregivers, and patient/caregiver organization representatives. If you require travel support, please select "Yes" when prompted during registration.
