A meeting of Soul, Funk, World & House Music, Groovin' in The Park is a two daylong event at Toronto's Woodbine Park and is a part of the Toronto Beaches Jazz Festival summer programming. Family-friendly setting of Woodbine Park in the city's East end is a beautiful setting for this community-focused dance party which includes delicious food options, beer garden, shaded seating and it's Free!

Groovin' in the Park : Friday presented by NuFunk Concerts, United Soul & Hot Stepper Productions in association with the Beaches Jazz Festival. A true pioneer of Toronto’s dance music scene, Mark Oliver has been shaping dance floors since the late 1980s. Classically trained on guitar before turning to jazz and record collecting, he discovered club culture while busking through Europe and returned to launch his DJ career in Toronto. His legendary residencies at Tazmanian Ballroom, Twilight Zone, Go Go, and The Guvernment helped define the city’s rave movement and club culture. Renowned for his eclectic, genre-spanning sets and unwavering commitment to championing local talent, Mark remains one of Canada’s most respected DJs, continuing to inspire new generations while representing Toronto’s rich dance music legacy.
