Mark your calendars for Saturday, July 11th - we’re bringing the fiesta to Old Town Bay Saint Louis! Founded in 2015 by the vibrant duo Ann Madden and Sandy Maggio, Frida Fest is a grand tribute to the legendary Mexican artist Frida Kahlo. This festival celebrates diversity, uplifts artists, and helps make a positive impact in our community. Each year, our beloved Frida look-alike contest raises funds for a meaningful cause - and this year, all proceeds benefit El Pueblo. El Pueblo is a nonprofit organization serving low-income immigrants across Mississippi by providing professional, low-cost humanitarian and family-based immigration legal services.
Our look-alike contest welcomes everyone—women, men, children, and especially your beloved pets! Receive a free drink ticket when you sign up ahead of time on our website - mockingbirdcafe.com or register on the day of the event until 6 PM. Need help perfecting your Frida look? Stroll through our local shops in Old Town Bay St. Louis - they’re stocked with all the Frida-inspired flair you could dream of. See you in Bay St. Louis!
