11th Annual CommUnity Power of One

CommUnity Power of One is an annual event held in recognition of the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination. The 11th annual CommUnity Power of One will take place on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at the Baymont by Wyndham in Red Deer.

In commemoration of this day, the event centers on the power of one and the role each of us plays in creating change. Guided by the themes Remember, Reimagine, and Rebuild, we move from acknowledging past and present injustices to envisioning a more inclusive and equitable future.

Through speakers, panel discussions, and interactive sessions, participants will be invited to reflect, listen, and engage in meaningful conversations about racism—and the ways awareness, dialogue, and action contribute to change. Together, we will explore how individual choices and voices can strengthen our communities and support lasting impact.
