The Beers and Board Games Club of Columbus will host our 11th Annual 24 Hour Board Game Marathon for Nationwide Children’s Hospital at Olentangy River Brewing Company starting on Saturday, November 8 at 11am! Admission is $20 at the door with 100% going to the kids.The 24 Hour Board Game Marathon features hundreds of tabletop board games — from classics to the latest con and Kickstarter releases — plus a stacked silent auction, the always-entertaining meta game, a tasty rotation of food trucks and of course delicious coffee and beer from ORBC including our collaboration beer, Viktory Points Viking Ale! Attendees are welcome to drop in to play for a few hours, or stay for the entire 24 hour event, which brings out more than 250 gamers each year. Please note that while this event is “for the kids” it is not intended FOR kids – adults 18+ only, please.
Additional parking is available in the neighboring Harrington Industrial Plastics, Meade & Associates, All About Kids Child Care, and Expedient parking lots.
The Beers and Board Games Club has raised over $95,000 for Nationwide Children’s Hospital, with the goal of raising an additional $10,000 this year. Donations in support of the club’s fundraising campaign can be made online at https://www.extra-life.org/team/bbg. The event is part of Extra Life, a global 24-hour gaming marathon fundraiser for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. For the kids!
