Join us for a barn quilt making workshop at Soule Homestead!
Participants will learn to make their very own 12×12 wood barn quilt. Join us in learning to make this folk art tradition. Brought over to the US by Europeans this historic craft was used to help decorate barns and even used during the American Revolution to help Patriot forces find much needed supplies according to Art & Object magazine.
All students will learn to make a hand painted barn quilt. Supplies are all included in this workshop. Come ready to get creative. Participants should dress for mess. Aprons are recommended, but not required.
