1.11 Soft Energy @ The Morton Arboretum

FREE BUS RIDE FROM PILSEN! Make sure to book the correct ticket type.

We will spend our 3 hours at the arboretum doing a beautiful, short 1.11-mile loop that will bring us out to a lake, and then back to our fire-pit.

We will then rest our legs and have a community discussion/activity with community leaders from P.E.R.R.O. (Pilsen Environmental Rights and Reform Organization)

Snacks and water will be available on site. Please bring a light lunch or any extra snacks if you can.

Things to wear:

• Layers! (Base layer -moisture-absorbing shirt, Mid Layer - fleece sweater, Outer layer - wind-resistant or extra insulated jacket)
• Hiking/Snow/Warm boots (whichever you have available to you)
• Warm Socks
• Light lunch/Extra Snacks
• Reusable water bottle

If you are driving, the exact parking lot coordinates link will be sent to you via email. We will not be entering through the main entrance parking lot.

If you are riding the bus, we ask that you meet us at our pick-up location (which will be sent out via email) at 9:45 AM for check-in.

We will leave the site promptly at 10 AM. If you are running late, you may catch a ride in a carpool car with one of our members, but space will be limited.

Bus riders will be back in Pilsen by 3 PM.
