Explore the Museum's Peat & Smithsonian Collections with Jessica Spring
About this Event

Utilizing the Dave Peat and Smithsonian Collections of rare metal type, we’ll discuss strategies for composing and printing fragile antique and ornamental type. After demonstrations in the use of circular quads along with a few other tricks, each student will explore typesetting curves or waves to be locked up, printed, and exchanged in a small edition. All skill levels welcome. All materials provided. Age 18+

This workshop is offered in conjunction with the APA conference, but participants do NOT need be conference attendees to enroll in this workshop.
