Honoring Their Legacy
A grief, remembrance & creative expression workshop
Their story is more than our grief. And their legacy deserves to be remembered.
When we lose someone we love, it's easy for the story to become centered around the loss...the day they left this Earth, the thingd we miss, the moments we wish we could have back.
But what about the life they lived?
The laughter that filled the room.
The ridiculous things they said.
The traditions they created.
The little quirks that made them uniquely them.
The lessons they taught us.
The memories that still make us smile through our tears.
Because grief is not only crying.
Sometimes it is laughing so hard at a memory that you forget, for a moment, how much you miss them.
Sometimes it is telling a story you have told a hundred times because you never want to forget it.
And sometimes, it is simply wanting the world to remember that they were here. That they were loved.
Join me for Honoring Their Legacy, a two-hour creative remembrance workshop where we will reflect, remember, share stories and create a personal legacy board celebrating the life of someone we love who has died.
Think vision board meets memory collage filled with photographs, meaningful words, favorite sayings, treasured memories, colors and the pieces of their story you want to keep close.
We will make room for tears.
We will make room for the laughter.
We will make room for the complicated feelings, too.
No art experience is needed.
No particular way of grieving is expected.
Sharing is always optional.
This is a sacred space to remember, create, connect and honor the lives that continue to matter to us.
Because we may not be able to create new memories with them here, but we can continue to honor the memories we carry.
Their life mattered.
Their story matters.
