Strengthening Digital Infrastructure, and Harnessing Emerging Technologies for a Prosperous, Equitable, and Sustainable Future
“Digitalisation is transforming Asia, with the digital economy projected to grow fivefold to $1 trillion by 2030. Achieving this requires interconnection, trust through secure data, responsible AI, and inclusivity to ensure everyone benefits. Together, we can build a prosperous digital future."
–Prime Minister, Lawrence Wong
Singapore has established its place as one of the global leaders in digital transformation. The government has been investing heavily in digital infrastructure and skills development, and businesses have been quick to adopt new technologies. As a result, Singapore has become a hub for innovation and entrepreneurship.
In order to strengthen Singapore's digital-first future, the government, businesses, and the people of Singapore must work together to create a prosperous, equitable, and sustainable society.
This means ensuring that everyone has access to the benefits of digital technology, regardless of their background or circumstances. It also means using digital technology to address the challenges of climate change, inequality, and other global issues.
The government has already taken a number of steps to support Singapore's digital transformation. These include investing in digital infrastructure, such as high-speed broadband and data centres; developing a skilled workforce, through initiatives such as the SkillsFuture movement; and creating a supportive environment for businesses to adopt digital technologies.
How Our Award-Winning OpenGov Gamification Table (OGT) Works
At the start, you will be assigned to an OpenGov Gamification Table (OGT), where there will be a technology partner and a speaker.
The technology partner and speaker will engage you and the other delegates in a 30-minute discussion on a specific topic, with the use of innovative props.
At the end of each gamification session, delegates will rotate to the next gamification table for the next round of discussion.
You will be engaged in another series of discussion on a new topic with gamification.
