El Premio Carmelita Torres a la Rebelión Fronteriza celebra el legado de Carmelita Torres, una figura valiente conocida por sus actos de resistencia y desafío contra las restricciones fronterizas a través de sus acciones intrépidas durante los disturbios de Bath de 1917, en El Paso, Texas y Ciudad Juárez, México.
