Join Sam’s KIDS and friends from across the community as we camp out for a coat at the 10th Annual Camping Out for Coats!
🏕️ NEW CAMP LOCATION FOR 2026!
In honor of our 10th Annual Campout, we’re taking this special tradition to a brand-new home, FRAWLEY STADIUM in Wilmington!
HOW IT WORKS:
Each camper receives a personal donation link to share with friends, family and colleagues. No donation is too small, and every dollar raised helps purchase brand-new Operation Warm coats for children at select Delaware elementary schools. Please note, Camp Registration and Camp Kick Off Party ticket sales will open in September.
Since launching Camping Out for Coats in 2017, Sam’s KIDS and our incredible community have helped provide more than 17,000 new coats to children throughout Delaware.
Our mission is simple: to provide EVERY child at EVERY school we serve with a brand-new coat.
Because a new coat provides much more than warmth. It can create a sense of pride, build confidence and self-esteem, encourage peer acceptance and help a child arrive at school warm, comfortable and ready to learn.
It’s more than a coat. It’s an investment in a child and in our community.
🔥 THE CAMP KICK-OFF PARTY
Camping or not, anyone and everyone is welcome to kick off this milestone year with our Annual Camp Kick-Off Celebration in the outfield at Frawley Stadium, featuring:
• Live music
• Food & drinks
• Silent auction
• Bonfires
• Fireside chats
• Hot chocolate + S'mores Bar and much more!
Then, our campers will settle in for the night (on the field at Frawley Stadium) as we take on one of Delaware’s most unique and challenging fundraisers, all in support of local kids.

Camp Kick Off Party Tickets will be available beginning in September.
