Event Programme Overview:
This year's programme offers a diverse range of sessions examining current issues and emerging trends in ophthalmology. Topics include:
- the future direction of nursing in Ophthalmology
- nursing wellbeing
- dry eye disease and ocular surface disorders
- patient safety through the examination of never events
- exploring complex oculoplastic surgery
- the growing myopia epidemic
- outcomes from current ophthalmic research.
The agenda is complemented by networking and career mentoring opportunities, including our unique breakout session: Career Speed Mentoring: Advancing Your Career in Ophthalmology.
This will consist of expert ophthalmology nurses who will help delegates gain an understanding of their roles, specialist areas of practice, and the career pathways that can lead to these positions.
Our specialists are: Digital Nurses, ACPs, Leadership, Research and AHPs.
This will be done in small group rotations to keep conversations flowing, but allow you to access personalised and in-depth conversations with each expert.
