10th Annual Giant Rock #NPLD #storiesandstewardship 2025 9/27/24

Spend your morning with the Mother Stone, on Saturday, September 27th for National Public Lands Day, or join us on Friday, September 26th at 3 PM for E-snot application/prep.

MAGIC INCOMING: Stories & Songs with Kim Marcus in the Vortex Friday at 7 PM!

Either way, one will enjoy the company of our fantastic partners, community members, culture bearers, and volunteers sharing stories of the boulder.

Thanks to NEEF USA for creating NPLD over 30 years ago this is our 10th year!

We set up on the rocks' south side on the concrete pad (Formerly Van Tassel's family cafe).

Please approach from Belfield and Linn Road, the north route is dodgy for non-4x4 vehicles. Park close to the ridge and well south of the pad to keep room for our equipment and clean-up vehicles. Mind the cones.

We will begin with a blessing by Cahuilla/Serrano elder Kim Marcus at 9 AM.

Bring plenty of drinking water! Our water is not potable and is used for pressure washing!

Stay for a complimentary lunch following the work from the Landers $5 Pizza Place.
