January 7th 2026:This week is the 10-Year Anniversary Celebration of Ecstatic Dance Salt Lake City
Yes, it is a collaboration with Clubhouse, and no, it is not at the Krishna Temple this week.
To honor 10 years of dancing at the Krishna Temple, where it all began, the Temple has started much-needed repairs on the aging wood floor. Because of that, this week only, we are combining forces with Clubhouse to dance our way into 2026 together.
Join us as we celebrate 10 years of Ecstatic Dance, a decade of beats, community, and movement medicine. Come move, release, and vibe with us as we honor the journey and step into the next chapter together.
Ean Golden is an internationally respected DJ and long-time pioneer of live electronic performance whose work now lives primarily in conscious dance spaces. After decades touring clubs and festivals worldwide, Ean stepped away from the club circuit to focus exclusively on Ecstatic Dance and community-centered gatherings aligned with his values.
His Ecstatic Dance sets are fully improvised, deeply embodied, and shaped in real time with the room. Drawing from a vast musical range and live performance techniques, Ean weaves rhythm, melody, percussion, and texture into a dynamic arc, moving seamlessly from grounding and introspective moments to powerful, ecstatic peaks. Dancers often describe his floors as playful, emotional, and transportive, with a strong sense of journey and collective release.
Known equally as a dancer and a DJ, Ean brings rare sensitivity to the energy of the room, responding moment-by-moment to what wants to emerge. His sets invite presence, expression, and connection, creating a dancefloor that feels alive, intentional, and deeply shared.

Movement/Yoga: Included with the cost, or $10 for just the Movement/Yoga class
Dance Tokens available for as little as $15 per event

Community Guidelines:
- Move however you wish, while respecting the space of those around you
- No talking on the dance floor, there is plenty of space in the temple for conversation
- We ask that you refrain from use of cell phones, photos, video, & strong scents during the dance
- Ecstatic Dance is a Drug & Alcohol Free Space
- Our dance is built on consent. It’s important to get a non-verbal invitation to dance with a partner, and we ask that you maintain that level of respect during and after the dance ends.
What To Bring:
- Comfortable, loose fitting clothes that freely allow movement
