108 Sun Salutations Yoga in the Garden at Kerby's Nursery

In this FREE yoga class offered by Keystone Yoga and Kerby’s Nursery, we'll welcome the arrival of the summer solstice and celebrate Keystone Yoga's third anniversary! We'll flow through the sequence of Sun Salutation A 108 times with breaks in between. Join us to begin the longest day of the year with yoga in the garden.

Please bring your own mat and water to drink. The class will take place on the boardwalk in the Nursery; feel free to bring a towel to place under your mat as well.

Arrive by 7:15 am to get parked, checked in, and find a space on the boardwalk for your mat.

Yogis often perform 108 Sun Salutations to celebrate the summer solstice, which holds significant spiritual and energetic importance in many cultures. This dynamic workshop not only brings strength and flexibility to your body but also facilitates a deep connection between mind, body, and breath. Sun Salutations generate heat in the body, activating Prana, or energy, creating a holistic experience.

Why 108? The union of one, zero, and eight encapsulates the entirety of existence, making each Sun Salutation a profound journey of self-discovery.

Our 70-minute class offers modifications for all levels, ensuring a safe and inclusive practice. Active yoga poses and breaks provide moments to rejuvenate, making the experience accessible to everyone. We recommend hydrating in advance to optimize your practice.
