📯 Swords drawn, drums beating and banners flying - experience a historic Freedom of Entry parade along the Cairns Esplanade.
104 (City of Cairns) Squadron, Australian Air Force Cadets, will exercise its Freedom of Entry to the City of Cairns in celebration of the Squadron's 75th anniversary and Cairns' 150th anniversary.
A tradition steeped in military heritage, the Freedom of Entry is a ceremonial honour recognising the longstanding relationship between a military unit and the community it serves.
Watch as members of 104 Squadron march along the Cairns Esplanade, are challenged by a representative of the Queensland Police Service and perform an Eyes Right salute to Mayor Amy Eden at the Cairns Cenotaph.
