Learn how to customise your very own 3D printed fingerboard or skate park accessories with our introductory workshop session.

Be guided through the 3D modelling and printing process and take away your very only State of Sk8 inspired object. This workshop is a great extension of the 3D printer induction, as you will learn more about the design and printing process. This workshop

Having completed the induction is not required to do this workshop, however you will still need to undertake an induction if you would like to book and use State Library’s 3D printers.

Please note, this workshop is an introduction to 3D printing and the design process to give you a taster of the process. You will need to complete a separate 3D printing induction in order to be able to access and print on the machines at The Edge as part of Open lab.

101 skill development workshops give you the basic skills you need to start your new creative journey.

Each workshop is delivered by an experienced facilitator and to participate in the workshops, intermediate computer skills, a willingness to learn and a little patience will see you underway.

Participants must be over 16 years of age.

Enclosed flat footwear is encouraged when in the Innovation lab.
