Relax, Restore, Renew100 hour Restorative Yoga Immersion
Bee Well Yoga’s 100 hour Restorative Yoga immersion is an experiential study of the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual healing processes of restorative yoga. Restorative Yoga is a slow, deliberate practice of mindful resting to heal injuries, illnesses and/or traumas. The practice uses supported postures, breath work, meditation and long holds to draw the mind inward, release unwanted energy in the body and instill a deep sense of relaxation. This slow, meditative and often intense practice nurtures self-discovery and facilitates a wholeness of mind, body and spirit.
Sample Topics that will be covered:
Anatomy of the nervous system and subtle body
Research and discussion on how yoga impacts the brain
Therapeutic uses of restorative yoga
