Program Overview
Our 100-Hour Mat Pilates Certification is a comprehensive, in-person training designed to give you the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills to become a skilled and impactful Pilates instructor. Grounded in Joseph Pilates’ original 34 mat exercises, this program bridges classical tradition with modern movement science, anatomy, and inclusive teaching practices.
Whether you're brand new to teaching or expanding your wellness career, this course offers a balanced blend of theory, movement, and real-world teaching experience.
What You’ll Learn
The history, philosophy, and evolution of Pilates
Mastery of the 34 classical Pilates Mat exercises
Core principles of Pilates
Cueing strategies
Anatomy, posture, breath mechanics, and spinal & pelvic alignment
How to lead effective, safe, and client-centered classes for all levels
Integration of props for challenge or support
Observation, teaching practicum, and the development of your authentic teaching voice
Included in Your Certification
76 hours of in-person instruction & supervised teaching
10 hours of Pilates class observation (in-person or online)
10 hours of practice teaching (in-person or online) – free studio space available for community classes
10 hours of self-practice and independent study – includes FREE movement classes throughout training
Comprehensive color-printed manual and access to an online video and slide portal
10% discount on all retail purchases for the duration of the course

Meets National Pilates Certification Program (NPCP) Mat training requirements
Course Dates & Times
September: 5–7, 26–28
October: 10–12, 24–26
Fridays: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Saturdays & Sundays: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Final Evaluation
Written Exam
Open-book format
May be completed on final day or within 6 months
80% minimum to pass (unlimited retakes allowed)
Practical Exam
Teach a 60-minute in-person class
$50 non-refundable booking fee
Must be completed within 6 months (additional private session required if delayed; $50/hour)
Payment Plan
$400 + GST deposit secures your spot (non-refundable, applied to tuition)
Remaining $1400 split into two payments:
$700 due on first training day
$700 due on day 6 of training

Make-Up Policy
Some missed content can be made up through online modules (if available)
