Please join me on my Guinness World Record Attempt to run 1000 consecutive Half Marathons!
For anyone who doesn’t already know, I am the current Guinness World Record holder! I have now, however almost decoupled my original record which stands at 111 and I will hopefully take this up to 1000 🙌
Most of my runs have been run locally in and around the Wrexham area. They have also started at 4am! So I invite you all to join me one last time and experience a half marathon like no other!
It will be early. It will be cold, it will be dark. You will need your own hi-viz and head torch. You will be responsible cor your own safety. This will be a FREE event however I am running to raise funds and awareness for Cancer Research UK so any donations are welcome

There is also a Cancer Research UK collection tub at Morrisons Local Llay and Gresford Newsagents.
We will meet at Alun Waters Country Park Llay side for 4am on Friday 24th Jan
I will be there to brief you, and we will be running four 5.3km laps to complete a half marathon distance. This will be a mixture of the trails in Alun Waters and the residential streets of Llay.
Feel free to wear Road trainers or trail shoes, either will be fine. The trail paths we are using are all tarmac.
You can run 1,2,3 or all 4 laps with me. Each lap will start approximately 30 min apart.
You can see the route we will take on my Strava feed. It’s called “The Little Witch” route as it looks like a little witch! I have labelled it Day 1000 reccy too.
There will be a food van at the start / finish line serving hot drinks and breakfast baps for spectators / runners
You will need £1 for parking if you are planning on parking at Alun Waters. The car park is right on the start line.
Please note there are no toilet facilities open during this run.
