Glastonbury River Runners (adults) and Rising Stars (4-13 year olds) are hosting a 1,000-lap challenge and is inviting ALL of Glastonbury to participate. For every lap the community completes, GRR will donate $0.50 cents to selected local charities, including Socktober, a sock drive for the homeless. Every 5 laps = 1 mile. You can come anytime during the event, walk 1 or 100 laps, the choice is yours. You are welcome to bring the entire family, including friendly dogs.WHEN: Saturday, Nov 1 from 7:00-10:00 am
