** Update 03/09** Dress up those Jeeps with the Red White and Blue and help me celebrate the 100th birthday of a dear friend and WWII Purple Heart recipient Marine veteran with a Jeep parade and convoy to escort him to his birthday party!Meet at 2:30pm at the closed Golden Corral parking lot on Ulmerton Rd and 101st St in Largo.
We will roll out at 3:00pm and make a short drive into his neighborhood, past his home and stage up for giving him a ride in a vintage WWII 1942 Willys Jeep to his birthday party at a nearby restaurant about 2 miles away.
I have been asked to clarify that this is a request to participate in the caravan only, not to the birthday party. The party is for close friends and family. Participating in the caravan will be more than enough to show your appreciation for Doc’s service.
