For a century, our church has been rooted in faith, growing in hope, and serving in love. As part of a global Nazarene family, we are called to make Christlike disciples, serve our community, love our neighbors, and share the hope of Jesus in Great Bend and beyond.
This special Centennial Weekend is a time to remember our history, reconnect with friends, welcome our community, and celebrate what God has done through generations of worship, service, missions, discipleship, and love.
Whether you grew up here, attended years ago, currently call Great Bend First Church home, or are simply part of our community, we would love for you to celebrate with us.
Saturday, October 3
Centennial Block Party
4:00-6:30 PM
Great Bend First Church of the Nazarene
4811 Broadway Ave., Great Bend, KS
Bring the whole family for an evening of fun, fellowship, memories, and celebration. The block party will include activities, food, church history, memorabilia, church tours, connection, and plenty of time to visit and celebrate together.
Guests are invited to walk through the church, see recent updates, revisit familiar spaces, and celebrate how God continues to use this place for ministry in our community.

Centennial Worship Service

Join us for a special Centennial Worship Service with honored guests, including the General Superintendent, District Superintendent, former pastors, and others who have been part of our church’s story.
The service will include worship, communion, shared stories and testimonies, and a meaningful time of honoring the past while looking ahead to the future God has planned.
Centennial Lunch
A lunch will follow the worship service at:
