About this Event
Thanks to a generous grant from the Greater Columbus Arts Council, Ohioana Library is excited to present "100 Years of Ohio Authors" — a new event series celebrating a century of Ohio literature!
On November 15 at 2:00 p.m. at Beanbag Books, we'll investigate 1935, when The Message in the Hollow Oak (Nancy Drew #12) was published by Mildred Wirt Benson (a.k.a. the first Carolyn Keene), paired with contemporary author Carol Williams and her middle grade mystery, The Supernatural Files of CJ Delaney.
Grab your magnifying glass and join Carol Williams and Nancy Eames, Youth Services Coordinator at the Toledo Lucas County Public Library, for an afternoon celebrating mystery books for young readers, including a book-themed scavenger hunt! Whether you grew up sleuthing with Nancy Drew or have a mystery-loving kid in your life, this is a free event for the whole family you won't want to miss!
