100 Years of Movies is back! This popular film series celebrates over a century of movies at the Mahaiwe and once again features introductions by director Deborah Reinisch. NYPD detectives Jimmy “Popeye” Doyle (Gene Hackman) and Buddy “Cloudy” Russo (Roy Scheider) are in pursuit of international drug smuggler, Alain Charnier (Fernando Rey) in this Oscar winning Best Picture of 1971.
