Plymouth: The entry-level brand in the Chrysler hierarchy.
Dodge: A brand that was acquired by the Chrysler Corporation, positioned above DeSoto in price and luxury.
DeSoto: A mid-price brand founded in 1928, slotted below Dodge and above Plymouth.
Chrysler: The flagship brand, producing higher-end vehicles.
Imperial: Initially a premium line of Chrysler cars, it was established as its own standalone brand in 1955 to compete with Lincoln and Cadillac.
