Then join us for a Nature Writing Celebration at the Grundy Library!
We will be celebrating our young authors through their submissions in the 100 Wild Words Contest in February with the date TBA.
Following last year’s inspirational submissions, which included everything from thought-provoking haikus to incredible stories of dragons helping humans restore our Earth, we’re thrilled for this year’s writing contest.
Awards will be presented for:
Best Kid Nature-Themed Micro-Writer (6-9 year olds)
Best Youth Nature-Themed Micro-Writer (10-13 year olds)
Best Teen Nature-Themed Micro-Writer (14-19 year olds)
Prizes will include gift cards and donations provided by Pot Heads Coffee House, Maria's Dye In Style, King George's II Inn, Miguel's Riverside Barber Shop, and Players Only Arcade. Pretzels will be provided during the celebration by Papa's Pretzels!
