Bideford ABC are taking 20 boxers to Belfast for the weekend on 16th-19th April. Whilst over there the boxers will compete against Belfast boxing squad at Crumlin Star Social Club and spar and train alongside professional’s at Anderson’s Boxing Gym. We will also be spending time exploring Belfast and the famous St George’s Market. We have a day planned at Colin Glen Forrest, a 200 acre forest where the boxers will be doing high ropes, zip wires, assault courses and other team building activities. This trip will give the boxers great boxing and life experience.
Our boxers are getting sponsorship to fund the trip. So we will open the club on Sunday 29th March from 12pm for the public to watch our boxers spar 100 rounds.
This is a great opportunity to see what Bideford Boxing Club is all about as you will get the opportunity to watch members from all ages and abilities in the ring including professionals, amateurs, boxers from the fitness groups and Parkinson’s group.
There is no costs to come along and support the boxers, although each boxer has a sponsorship form and there will be a donation bucket on the door if you would like to contribute.
