The Moncton Public Library Board is happy to present the fifth edition of its fundraiser, 100 artists for the Moncton Public Library. The event is scheduled for Thursday, May 21st at 7pm at the library.
There are 100 tickets available at the cost of $100. Each ticket allows two people to attend the evening. It includes two complimentary beverage tickets, and it gives the ticketholder one piece of art to take home, by random selection. Artists have created original 6x6 art works especially for the event. Paintings, hooked carpets, photographs, mixed media, there will be something for everyone.
When it is their turn to be selected, guests can choose their favorite work from among those still left on display in the library's art gallery. During the evening, there will be appetizers, live music, and bar service (card and cash payments accepted).
The art works will be on display in the library art gallery from May 1st until May 21st. Until then, they can be seen on the column behind the circulation desk.
The funds raised will allow the library to enhance popular collections.
To purchase a ticket: send a message to [email protected] with your name and e-mail address. You will receive an invoice that can be paid online. Your name will be added to the guest list.

La Commission Bibliothèque publique de Moncton est heureuse de présenter la 5e édition de sa levée de fonds 100 artistes pour la Bibliothèque publique de Moncton. L’événement aura lieu le jeudi 21 mai à 19h à la bibliothèque.
Il y a 100 billets disponibles au coût de 100$. Un billet comprend l’admission pour deux personnes. Il inclut deux coupons pour des breuvages gratuits et une œuvre d’art attribuée au hasard. Les artistes ont créé 100 œuvres de format 6x6 spécialement pour l’occasion. Peintures, tapis hookés, photographies, techniques mixtes, il y en aura pour tous les goûts.
Lorsque que vient leur tour d’être pigé, les invités peuvent choisir leur œuvre préférée parmi celles qui toujours en montre dans la galerie d’art de la bibliothèque. Durant la soirée, il y aura des hors d’œuvres, de la musique live, et un service de bar (paiements par carte ou en argent comptant acceptés).
Les œuvres seront en montre dans la galerie de la bibliothèque du 1er au 21 mai. D’ici là, il est possible de les voir sur la colonne derrière le comptoir de prêt.
Les fonds recueillis permettront d’acheter de nouveaux livres pour la collection.
