This popular course is being run over 1 year in Dollingstown. It consists of 3 modules of 10 sessions each. This sign up is for Module 1.
About this Event

The course is for Christians at any stage on their journey with God who want to know more about the Bible and how it relates to their lives. No prior theological knowledge or qualifications are needed! It will be particularly useful if you have responsibility for teaching the Bible as Sunday School teachers, youth group leaders, small group leaders, evangelists, church planters or lay readers. This course will lay a foundation for further theological training if desired.

We will meet on Tuesday evenings in St Saviour's Church Halls, Dollingstown, 64 Belfast Road, Craigavon, BT66 7JR from 7.30-9.30pm (including a coffee break).

Parking available. Each module will be 10 weeks long.

MODULE ONE: Starting on Tuesday 29 September; no class on 27 October (school half term); through to the last evening on Tuesday 8 December 2026.

MODULE TWO: Starting Tuesday 5 January; no class on 19 January; through to the last evening on Tuesday 16 March 2027.

MODULE THREE: Starting Tuesday 6 April running through to the last evening of the Bible Course year on Tuesday 8 June 2027 (no breaks).

Each module costs £30 (payable on the first night)

Module One: ‘The time has come’

In this module we survey all 27 books of the New Testament. Starting with the 4 Gospels and Acts, as we look at the life of Jesus and the early years of the church, and then moving on to the 22 letters that make up the rest of the New Testament. We will see how Jesus is the fulfilment of God’s plans for the world.

Who will be teaching the course?

The course will be taught by Dr. Keith Gardiner (Diocesan Lay Reader and former university lecturer) and Revd Stu Armstrong (Craigavon Parish Church) .

What do we expect from you?

• There are no exams or assignments.

• Those who attend are encouraged to read further, but the most important thing

is to come regularly with a Bible and a desire to learn more about God’s Word.

• Certificates will be awarded to participants who attend all three modules for at least 70% of the course.

• Ideally, participants should attend all the modules, but it is possible to sign up

for just one or two.
