Venerable Seelananda was born in Sri Lanka and ordained at the age of 11. In 1984, he received his higher ordination.Venerable Seela served as Vice President and Vice Abbot of Bhavana Society in West Virginia, US from 2011 to 2016. He is fluent in English, Pali and Sanskrit, and is very skilled in teaching Buddhism and meditation to both novices and lay practitioners.

Registration for the meditation retreat closes on 10 November 2024 or when places are taken up

If there is an overwhelming response, priority will be given to BF members.
