Ajahn Hasapanna's Bio

Ajahn Hasapanna was born in Ipoh, Malaysia in 1960. She joined Dhammasara Nuns Monastery in 2002 as a trainee nun (Anagarika) for 2 years and a 10-precept nun for 4 years with Ajahn Vayama as her teacher. She subsequently ordained as a Bhikkhuni in 2009 with Ayya Tathaaloka as her preceptor at Bodhinyana Monastery, Australia. Currently Ajahn Hasapanna is the Abbot of Dhammasara and Assistant Spiritual Director of The Buddhist Society of Western Australia.
