1 day Beginners Upcycle Workshop

Join us for our monthly ‘Repair and Upcycle Workshop’, drop in with your existing garments and learn basic skills on how to rework your clothes.

Learn how to:

+ How to thread an industrial sewing machine

+ Learn different stitches and tensions

+ How to shorten and hem a trouser or skirt by hand (Woven and Jersey)

+ How to shorten and hem a trouser or skirt on a sewing machine (Woven and Jersey)

+ Learn about the different fabrics and how they are different in handling

+ How to insert a zip, buttons and trims

+ Techniques to upcycle an existing garment

+ Customisation

+ How to tailor an existing garment to your body shape
