About this Event
1-26-27 Winter Forage Field Day is an in-person event for attendees interested in learning more about planting winter forages for their livestock. We will cover forage establishment techniques, forage varieties suitable for Florida, matching livestock nutrition to forage, and pasture mealybug updates. In the afternoon, there will be a tour of the Hancock Seed Co. Warehouse, cattle grazing ryegrass, and planted forage plots. Lunch and educational materials are included with the $25 registrtion fee.
