Special Live Duo Performance
In 2015, the “Longtime Partners in Crime” Eleni Ampelakiotou and Wilhelm Stegmeier founded the cinematic avant-rock, free-improv prog instrumental band GLEN in Berlin. Initially as a duo, the two guitarists developed the texture of the band through extensive improvisation, which was then supplemented by drums and bass.
This resulted in 3 albums, recorded with different band members but remaining true to the style of improvised sound development.
After various performances with the full band line-up, the original line-up will now perform live for the first time as ½ GLEN, improvise and present new material as in the origins, working live on the next GLEN album, so to speak.
