This is TWO separate clinics. One Saturday and one Sunday. Read below.
Spend your morning working on the foundation of your cowhorse! These 1/2 day clinics are great for keeping your horses tuned up and ready throughout the winter months! We do use the indoor for winter clinics unless the weather in exceptionally dry and mild.
Roughly we spend 1 hour on reining and maneuvers to help you horses work cattle, 1 hour on the flag, and then we run the cattle through twice boxing. I have had groups that were ready for herd work and we focused on that more that boxing/ holding a cow.
Saturdays are for horses/riders that are more advanced or have had their horses on cattle.
Sunday's are an opportunity for more novice to cattle riders on horses that have been on cattle or riders who would like to intro their young horses to cattle.
We limit these clinics to 5 riders each, so be sure to get on the list ASAP! Weather permitting. ❄️ This means if it's below 15 as a high for the day or the roads are hazardous we will make a call or offer a start delay. We want everyone safe, but do realize you are signing up for winter clinics! The indoor stays at least 10 degrees warmer than outside and we take a nice coffee & snack break to warm up. Dress warm & bring a cooler for your horse. You'll be all good! We do these every winter and they are great!
