09 Poetry Slam Presents: Tāmaki Makaurau 2026 Regional Finals!
About this Event
It's that time of the year again!
After two regional heats, our nine regional finalists will be battling it out for the title of Tāmaki Makaurau Regional Champion!
This is a three round slam with eliminations in between, and at the end we will be naming this year's champion. We will also announce the top two poets who will be advancing to The New Zealand National Poetry Slam 2026.
This event will also be a fundraiser, with the funds going towards sending our top two poets to Wellington to compete in the National Poetry Slam! Anyone who buys a GA + Raffle ticket will go in the draw to win a special gift bundle - stay tuned for more information.
