No Compromise and Kelsoceles are bringing together local talent to mix EDM on our WarShip Sound Cult EV rig. "First Friday" events will always be on only the very first friday of each month at Bremen Cafe in MKE. This event is No Cover!
Our goal is to cultivate safe events/spaces that uphold PLUR values and human rights. Come vibe to our sound, dance for your DJs, and network with the community.
As always we have open decks between 7pm and 9pm. You start out with 15min and may get more time according to demand. DJs that play open decks are considered for future WarShip Sound Cult gigs.
Now we know this fifth edition of First Fridays is the same weekend as Force Fields in Caddott, Wi. No Compromise will be working with Mind Altering Sounds Syndicate at Force Fields to bring a renegade stage, while Kelsoceles will be hosting First Fridays in Milwaukee for those of us staying home.
I'm honored to be working with this group of artists for our June lineup. Their dedication to the music scene shines in more ways than one for this event.
I would like to give a Huge Thank You to DatCat! He will be providing partial sound and helping with setup, along with spinning some UK Bass & DnB.
Sloth Brigade loves broken beats of any speed, he also feels there's nothing like some hard banging techno, dark bass music, or soulful housse. He will be DJing with us and then scootin on to Force Fields. Catch him out there at the MASS/WarShip renegade stage or The Wubwagon.
Wishing a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Tre Point Five and a big thank you for DJing for us the next day! Hailing from Madison underground, Tre will DJ some DnB for us in his style of slow tension build-ups to exquisitely satisfying peaks. Tre expresses inspiration by artists such as BCee, Bladerunner, DJ Hybrid, Particle, & Halogenix.
Alex Viper, who curates events Shadow Frequency in MKE and Tackycardia in NYC, brings genrefluid beats sure to give you and the sound system a workout. For First Fridays, they’ll be playing an electropunk/neurobreaks set with a twist of acid for fans of artists like Locked Club, Hermeth, and Sirdsapes.
