Teen Self-Love Abstract Heart Acrylic Painting & Sound Bath WorkshopMay Monthly Focus: Self-Expression
For teens ages 13–17
This is more than a workshop… it’s a space for teens to come home to themselves. In a world that constantly tells them who to be, this experience gently brings them back to who they already are truthful, creative, emotional, and enough.
In May, we focus on self-expression, learning how to safely feel it, express it, and let it move without judgment. Because so many teens are carrying more inside than they know how to say.
We begin with a gentle grounding meditation and breathwork to help them slow down, soften, and reconnect inward. From that space, each teen will create an abstract heart on a mini canvas using acrylic paint an empowerful creative process where emotion becomes color, movement, and expression. There is no right way to do this. No perfection. No comparison. No pressure. Just expression. Some hearts may feel bold and loud… Some soft and quiet… Some layered, messy, or still unfolding… All of them are welcome. All of them are enough. Through this experience, teens are supported in: Releasing perfectionism and self-judgment Exploring self-expression in a safe space Connecting to emotions through creativity Building confidence in their inner voice.
We close with a deeply restorative sound bath, allowing the nervous system to relax and everything that was expressed to fully integrate.
They’ll leave with a mini abstract heart canvas, a reminder that their voice matters, their emotions are valid, and self-expression is safe. Because self-love isn’t about changing who you are… It’s about finally allowing yourself to be fully expressed.
For teens ages 13–17 (middle & high school)
No prior art experience needed.
Bring comfort essentials: pillows, blanket, bolster, yoga mat, journal or whatever will make your space cozy for you.
We do provide yoga mats, blankets and eye pillows if you do not bring your own.
Please arrive 10 minutes early to set up your space for a prompt start. Late entry is NOT permitted.
