Alchemy of Grief: A Day Retreat

Alchemy of Grief is a one-day ceremonial retreat designed to gently support the emotional, energetic, and somatic experience of loss. This offering creates space to honor loved ones, process grief held in the body and heart, and reconnect with oneself through ritual, movement, art, sound, and community.
Grief changes us, not because love ends, but because love transforms.
This retreat is not about fixing grief or moving past it, but about meeting it with presence, allowing it to soften, shift, and integrate in its own time.
The retreat is co-facilitated by Caroline Weiss and Stephanie Locchetta, blending somatic and energetic healing, memorial art, sound healing, and ceremony into a grounded, reverent container for remembrance and transformation.

Memorial (Ash) Art & Pre-Retreat Ceremony
Prior to the retreat, Stephanie Locchetta will meet individually with each participant for a private ceremonial session. This pre-retreat meeting offers space to honor the participant’s loved one and to prepare intentionally for the memorial art process. This is where you will individually add the ash into the texture of your art piece or if you do not have ash then lay the texture layer down on the canvas. This process is very empowering and Stephanie will guide you through the whole process, no art experience is required. Your artwork will be created symbolically using color, texture and intention. The focus is not the materials themselves, but the meaning, memory, and love woven into the creation.

Retreat Flow
Throughout the day, participants will be guided through the following experiences:
Opening Circle: A gentle welcome to help participants acclimate, feel grounded, and establish safety and connection within the group.
Kundalini Activation Healing Journey: A somatic and energetic experience that supports the body in releasing stored grief, stress, and survival patterns. This journey allows the nervous system to soften and unwind naturally, guided by the body’s own innate intelligence.
Lunch: A light, nourishing time to refuel
Time to rest and integrate
Memorial Art Creation: A sacred creative process facilitated by Stephanie, offering space for remembrance, expression, and honoring what continues to live within us.
Sound Healing: A restorative sound journey to support emotional settling, nervous system regulation, and integration.
Cacao Fire Ceremony & Closing: The day concludes with a cacao-supported fire ceremony, an ancient ritual for heart-opening and to release what no longer serves you and setting intentions

Post-Retreat Integration: Akashic Energy Healing
Each participant receives a private Akashic Energy Healing session with Caroline Weiss following the retreat. Akashic Energy Healing works with the energetic record of the soul, offering insight, clarity, and healing around life patterns, relationships, and emotional imprints across time. These sessions are interactive healing experiences, not passive readings, supporting integration, perspective, and deeper understanding as participants continue processing their grief journey.
This Alchemy of Grief Day Retreat Is For You If:
• You are grieving the loss of a loved one, relationship, or chapter of life
• You want to honor grief without bypassing your emotions
• You are open to somatic, creative, and ceremonial healing
• You seek a grounded, compassionate space for remembrance and integration

Facilitator Bio: Caroline Weiss
Caroline Weiss is a somatic and energetic healing practitioner devoted to supporting people through meaningful life transitions, emotional healing, and root-cause transformation.
Her work weaves together Kundalini Activation Healing, Akashic Energy Healing, hypnotherapy, and nervous-system-informed somatic practices, offering clients a grounded yet expansive path into deeper self-connection. Caroline’s approach is relational, attuned, and experiential guided by the belief that the body and energy field hold both the memory of our wounds and the wisdom for healing them.
Alongside her energetic and somatic training, Caroline brings a background as a registered nurse specializing in hospice and end-of-life care. This experience quietly informs her work, shaping a deep respect for grief, transformation, and the non-linear nature of healing without rushing, fixing, or bypassing what needs to be felt.
Caroline works with clients much like a therapist does: through presence, listening, and guided exploration while utilizing energy-based and subconscious modalities to access patterns that often live beneath words. Her sessions focus on root-cause healing, supporting the release of emotional, energetic, and survival-based imprints that can show up as blocks in health, relationships, self-worth, abundance, grief, and life direction.
Her offerings include:
• Kundalini Activation Healing journeys
• Akashic Energy Healing
• Hypnotherapy
Caroline’s work is especially supportive for those who feel called to go deeper, who sense there is more beneath the surface of what they’ve already addressed, and who are ready to meet themselves with honesty, compassion, and curiosity.
At the heart of her work is the understanding that healing is not about becoming someone new, but about remembering who you are beneath survival and conditioning.

She connects the mind, body and Soul together through the modalities that she uses, honoring grief as sacred ground/ Grief is not something to rush past or bypass, but something to gently feel, creatively express, safely hold in the nervous system, and integrate with compassion and presence.
Stephanie facilitates transformational workshops, day retreats, rituals, sound baths, coaching and more. She offers private 1:1 and intimate group experiences, and leads her online Self-Love Shift Sisterhood, a sacred virtual gathering where women come together each week to be witnessed, supported, and gently guided back to their own inner wisdom.
