The February event will feature Carrie Hill! Resilient Pathways: Finding Your Career Through Life’s Detours
This program explores the diverse and unconventional pathways to building a fulfilling career, emphasizing resilience as the cornerstone of success. Participants will discover how setbacks can become opportunities, how resilience is a skill that can be cultivated, and how their unique journeys are powerful assets. By embracing detours and owning their stories, attendees will gain inspiration and practical insights to navigate their careers with confidence and adaptability.
Carrie Hill is a public relations & strategic partnership professional and coach, with an emphasis on excavating and maximizing hidden gems in brand journeys for exposure and collaborative partnership. She is an advisory board member for Promise2Live, an Ambassador for Build Then Bless, Host of the ReFind Resilience podcast, a divorce-driven poverty thriver, speaker, and advocate for post-divorce work solutions against poverty with her InPowered Program.
Some of her corporate work includes; iHub Innovation Hub Utah, Kneaders Bakery & Cafe, Crucial Learning and CenExel Clinical Research. She and her clients have been featured on Fox13, ABC, KUTV2 and KSL5 locally. Nationally her clients have been featured in Redbook, Mind Body Green, Sharp Heels, The Sun, Boston Globe, The Whitney Show in Chicago, CNN, Positively Positive, Psychology Today and the Washington Post.
She has worked with nonprofits such as; Harvesting Happiness for Heroes, Guitars4Vets, Mothers Prayer, The Children’s Justice Center of Salt Lake County and Saprea.
She is an energetic, optimistic motivator, approaching every individual she meets with kindness and a warm smile. Whether it’s a start-up or a large organization, Carrie believes in building people up at the corporate and community level. She is dedicated to her family and attributes her relationship with faith and the support of amazing people in her network as the reason for her thriving.
Through the Impact Development and Engagement Network, industry members can engage in rich learning and development. As a community aligned around a common goal of improving women’s experiences at work and diversity, equity, and inclusion outcomes in Utah, participants will discuss complex issues in a supportive context, share impactful practices, and advance discussions and solutions that strengthen our local workforce.
