Our next club RC Tank Battle will be in Riverside, held at the Inland Empire RC Club. Members: This venue is a bit tricky to get to that requires a little bit of dirt driving. Nice cars should park in the first parking lot where you first enter and we will arrange to come get you and your stuff. If you have a high clearance vehicle or drive a car you don't care gets a little bit of low impact off road driving, you can take the fire road that is about a quarter mile off of the parking lot to reach the RC club where there is dirt parking right at where we play. This location is an RC airfield normally. Please respect the property by not driving on the "runway" portion, we will be playing in a section that does not interfere with other activities.
RC tank battles consist of RC tanks equipped to play "laser tag". We separate into teams and battle it out until only one RC tank is left standing. The areas we battle are set up like miniature battlefields complete with props to make it look realistic.

RULES FOR RETURNING PLAYERS (MEMBERS):
Before you show up:
1. Please upgrade your IR receiver to a LegoDEI V2. The V3 version is not accepted..
2. Please make sure your IR emitter bulb is recessed in the opening by approximately 9mm. Exposed emitters are not permitted. Verify your shot pattern to make sure you only signal hits from the front arc of your bulb at an area that is outdoor.
On the day of the event:
1. Show up early and help us set up if you are able to
2. Please prepare all of your tank to run as early as possible
3. Check in with Tang and Hugo to test your tank for compliance with our rules with a shoot/receiver testing procedure
4. Sign in with Hugo with club dues
As always, I highly recommend bringing a second battery, basic hand tools, and anything you might need to sustain yourself and your tank for the day. This is a public park with public restrooms but I do recommend you bring your own food and water. It will probably be sunny so bring a hat, sunblock, bug spray, etc
