Spend a creative evening crafting your own handbuilt tea set for two! In this 2.5-hour workshop, you’ll learn slab-building techniques to make one teapot or pitcher and two small tea cups. Perfect for gifting, enjoying with a loved one, or adding a handmade touch to your home, this workshop guides you step-by-step through the process.No clay experience needed—just bring your creativity, and we’ll guide you step-by-step!
Pre-registration is required — each person in your group (including kids) must have a ticket.
What’s included:
Up to 2 lbs of clay per participant
Instruction in handbuilding techniques
Tools and materials for decorating your piece
Glazing and two kiln firings included

Class may be canceled if fewer than 5 people are registered 24 hours in advance; in that case, we’ll contact you and issue a class credit
Your finished pieces will be fired in our kiln and ready for pickup in about 3 weeks at The Claypen in West Hartford, CT
